Rani Baker - Head of Health and Physical Education
Rani grew up in Wonthaggi before moving to Melbourne to attend University at Deakin. She completed a Bachelor of Education majoring in Physical Education and Psychology.After starting at Lauriston in 2004, Rani says:"I feel lucky because I don't just sit at a desk. The girls' and I can get outside and be active. I have alot of interaction with students of different ages and personalities in a great environment.”

In reflecting on how Howqua contributes to Lauriston’s unique vision for girls’ learning, Rani says: ‘What a fantastic experience to spend a year living with friends in such a beautiful environment – I wish I’d had something like that when I was at school!’
