The best way to see the uniform is to click here. We have a summer, winter and sport uniform. Students In Year 9 at Howqua do not wear School Uniform.
Do you have a canteen?
We do and it is called the refectory! It is open from 7.30am to 4pm and has a wide variety of foods including sandwiches, sushi, pasta, pizza and salads.

What sports do you play?
We have a huge number of sports available some of them are listed on our choices page (link). We are part of Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) for inter-school, competition. For more information have a look at the GSV website http://www.gsv.vic.edu.au
What time does School start?
School starts at 8.20am and finishes at 3.20pm.
What languages do you teach?
In the Junior Schools girls learn French. From year 7 all girls study French and Chinese. In Year 10 girls can commence studying Spanish
Can I join a music group?
Yes, there are lots of music and singing groups in the School. Have a look at the choices page see what is available.
How can I meet other new students?
We have quite a lot of special events to give new students a chance to meet each other and current students. If you are entering year 5 or 6 you can come along to CC Day (Creativity and Challenge Day, From Prep to year 7 orientation Day is held on the last Friday of November and girls entering the Year 9 Howqua campus are invited to orienteering and other activity days. Girls entering Senior College come to a series of special events, information sessions and meetings with their Heads of House. Every new student has at least one "buddy" to help them when they come to the School.
Can I visit for a day?
We would love you to visit for the day. It is a great way to get a "feel" for the School and meet the teachers and other students.
