I've been at Lauriston since I was in Prep. I'm in Year Eleven now and when I was asked to describe my experience of the school, my brain practically went into a spin because there has been so much. Where to start? Well I start with friendships, and I realise how so many activities in the school make sure that friendship and loyalty are strong. There is a very happy, caring atmosphere here. I think that even our academic studies are a part of this. A huge difference about Lauriston is the fact that we have Howqua in year nine, and I've also had the opportunity to be in the musical, the play, and the orchestra. I play netball and I love swimming. I'm doing IB and that's a fantastic opportunity for me, as I am planning a career in politics. I love languages, and I am a bit of an IT nut…I could go on forever here. There is honestly a lot of joy and laughter at Lauriston, and I realise you don't often hear people say that about their school.
